for a visit
Before bringing
the children,
a preliminary
visit to
the museum
is advisable.

teachers
on Wednesdays.
HERITAGE
DISCOVERY
COURSES
Week-long
heritage
courses are
jointly organised
by the education
authority
in La Châtre,
the AD/PEP
and the museum.
Classes are
given by
qualified
teaching
staff and
professionals
from the
museum. They
are suitable
for primary
schools up
to year 6
and are organised
as workshops
with prehistory,
the exploration
of the Gallo-Roman
site, the
museum collections
and an introduction
to archaeology
amongst their
themes.
